A recent construction site accident led to tragedy for two workers. According to reports, two men working at a warehouse died after becoming trapped under giant slabs of granite. The men were unloading a truck and initial reports suggest that the wooden supports meant to hold the slabs in place may have become loose in transit. The giant slabs of granite fell out of the shipping container, pinning the men underneath. One of the workers was pronounced dead at the scene. The other was taken to San Francisco General Hospital and later pronounced dead.

The California Division of Occupational Safety and Health is now investigating the accident site.
