Meet Attorney Kevin Thelen
Kevin joins us as a Senior Trial Attorney with a focus on complex medical malpractice litigation. With nearly two decades of experience handling catastrophic injury cases in the medical malpractice arena, he has the background and insight to guide even the most challenging matters from the initial investigation through trial. Kevin has been the primary trial lawyer in approximately 20 jury trials in California, which qualified him to be an associate member of the invitation-only organization, American Board of Trial Advocates. His methodical approach and clarity in navigating highly technical medical issues make him a valuable legal ally for families confronting harm caused by medical negligence. His work centers on the human impact of these cases, and he understands the emotional and physical toll they take on injured clients and their loved ones. Kevin’s background, including his education at Santa Clara University and UCLA, and his active involvement in bar associations and advocacy groups, reinforces our firm’s ability to pursue justice with precision and passion.
Introducing Attorney Justin Powers
Justin also joins Bostwick & Associates as an Associate Attorney devoted to representing plaintiffs in medical malpractice and catastrophic injury litigation. He has been practicing for more than six years exclusively in the field of medical malpractice and brings a disciplined trial approach and a commitment to understanding the medical science underlying each case. He earned his J.D., magna cum laude, from Lincoln Law School of Sacramento and also attended the University of California, Irvine. His ability to collaborate meaningfully with experts and distill complex medical information into powerful legal narratives helps clients feel confident and heard throughout their legal journey. Justin’s advocacy is strongly influenced by his lifelong commitment to helping others, including his work with children with special needs earlier in his life. This empathy, combined with his legal skill, helps him tell your story in and out of court.
